Edward Gerrard and Sons were the top taxidery firm in the UK from 1850 until 1967
Edward Gerrard and Sons carried out work for Charles Darwin and the British Museum and also made top quality ladies fur jackets.
The label is for 61 College Road which was the premises after the early 1900's - so dates this jacket to 1900 -1967 and likely to be the mid part of the timeline.

Measured shoulder to shouler 19"/48 cms (measured flat)
Measured top to bottom including collar 20"/51 (measured from front side|)
Measured hem from side to side 30"/76 cms (is cut to a curve but has been measured straight across)
Condition: Overall very good - looks beautiful - has a small hole in the lining (see pic) The fir appears to be overall very good. Looks like Chocolate Mink (but I am not a fur expert - I can't see any pelt joins and the fur is dark with a slight coppery tinge) made by a top quality company. Has minimal wear given age, but please remember this is a pre-loved item.
